REGINA MARETA SOONSEIN

Regina-Mareta Soonsein (1991) graduated from
the Higher Art School of Pallas in 2019
with a degree in painting. In recent years, she
has been working mainly in the field of linocut. Describing the essential nature of her work,
the artist uses concepts and keywords such
as pressure, the beauty of destruction, deviation, disintegration, inner experiences, archetypes. Regina-Mareta Soonsein has participated in group exhibitions, made solo shows and created exhibitions in public social spaces since 2017.
In 2019, she was awarded the Wiiralt Prize Audience Fellow and was selected as the winner
of the Biafarin Award at the NordArt exhibition.
In 2019, he was awarded the I Land Sound Festival's Best Stage Design Award
and the Estonian Association of Free Graphic Designers' Newcomer of the Year.
